a little bit about me - a yoga student and teacher who embraces the fullness of life through an admiration of the natural world, vulnerability and heart-touching human moments.
in 2018 I left my home in the desert of Arizona, for a life down under. this significant transition catapulted me into truly building a trusting relationship with myself that was self-reliant and compassionate, simply out of necessity to begin with.
the practice of yoga was something that I had dipped in and out of from my teenage years. in early 2019, I found myself coming back to it as a way to find relief and deep healing from the big emotions and thoughts that constantly churned within me as I was living in a remote outback town in Tropical North Queensland.

to this day, my practice is a safe haven for me. yoga is a way for me to return to the home within, no matter where in the world I may be. a place to remember who I truly am and a reminder of how I’d like to show up each day.
my intention of sharing this practice with you is to remind you of the innate love, potential and resilience that lies deep within the psyche and physicality of our shared human nature. qualities that sometimes lie quietly within, until awakened through the light of awareness and fire of consistent practice. that’s what this space is all about.
believe me, once you notice the benefits of pure joy, contentment and an overall sense of belonging in your life through practice - you won’t ever want to go back to life as you knew it. this is an ever unfolding journey and life-long companion.
it’s sincerely my greatest joy and gift to be of service and hold space for other’s actualisation to their unique place in the world.
I know this is my life’s purpose, my dharma. I look forward to how my practice, offerings and our community will evolve for years upon years to come.
a big hug to you,
Liza xx

in early 2020, I enrolled in my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Nicole Walsh and Rod Galbraith at InYoga of Gadigal Land/Surry Hills, NSW. I then joined their team as a teacher, Community Manager and assistant facilitator of InYoga’s 200-hour yoga teacher trainings
300+ hours of alignment, anatomy, sequencing, meditation, lunar arts/tantric yin, mentorship and teaching with passion and purpose continued education under these wonderful humans who wholly embody the wisdom of yoga.
I am equally as inspired by another deeply impactful Sydney-based yoga teacher, Sarah Moore, who I completed a 50-hour pre/postnatal training under.
in the years that have followed, I have had the joy and privilege of mentoring fellow yogis who were in the early stages of their teaching career. together we workshop the ins and outs of rhythm in the flow, meaningful class themes and breaking-down of asana for intelligent sequencing
